The second round ARCAN training was undertaken Sep 18-29, 2006 at the Ethiopian Health and Nutrition Research Institute, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The purpose of the training was to provide Training-of-the-trainers (TOT) for laboratory personnel from ARCAN Countries.

Refresher Course On ‘’LABORATORY ASPECTS OF ANTIRETROVIRAL THERAPY MONITORING’’ ( ARCAN Refreshment, Report-July 2008.doc )
This course was a refresher course for those who previously attended one of the 11 rounds of the basic training. The topics for the refreshment course were selected based on a gap analysis of the primary trainings to help improve the quality of laboratory services in the respective countries. This first round of refresher training was held July 14-16, 2008 for 19 ARCAN TOT graduates (ATGs). The trainings was three days in duration.
Refresher Course On ‘’LABORATORY ASPECTS OF ANTIRETROVIRAL THERAPY MONITORING’’ ( ARCAN Refreshment, Report- April 15-17,09.doc )
The topics for the refresher course were selected based on the gap of the primary trainings. This will help to improve the quality of laboratory service in the respective countries. This training is the third round (April 15-17, 2009) of the Refresher training program which have given for 30 ARCAN TOT graduates (ATGs) of Kenya with three days duration.
